Welcome to the Cycling Dundee website. If you are from Dundee, or looking at visiting the city, you should be able to find all the cycling information you need.
There is information about the local clubs, all forthcoming events as well as a link to the local club forum for local comment and feedback on events and issues.
The area has an interesting history in the sport. The annual Dundee Thistle stage race, uses the Law in the city for its prologue time trail, the hill was also used for the Kelloggs tour a number of years ago.
The city is also host to a 400m tarmac velodrome in the Caird Park. Initially built in the 1950’s, the track was upgraded in 1970 and was the scene of Sir Chris Hoys first Scottish Championship title in the Scratch Race Championship. An event still held at the venue.
With the Sidlaw hills just outside Dundee, there is plenty going on, ar available for all cycling tastes, road, track, time trial, mountain bike, cyclo cross and duathlons.

The next local events are the Angus Bike Chain CC Duathlon Winter Series events based at Monikie Country Park, the first event is on December 5th.
The Discovery Junior CC have added yet more medals to their list of winners. See the www.discoveryjcc.co.uk site for details.
