Working to make cycling an everyday experience in Dundee
Thank you for joining Dundee Cycling Forum. Together we can make Dundee a better place for cyclists and cycling.
Remember to go to your email and respond to our verification email. You have not joined until you do.
Dundee Cycling Forum aims to make cycling "normal" in Dundee. We are therefore mainly focussed on utility cycling (commuting, shopping, trips to the park, etc), but we are friends with sports, touring, and MTB cyclists too. What would get us there? All kinds of things: improve the sense of safety through better, joined-up cycle paths; hold events that make cyclists more visible; hold developers and the council to best practices for cycling provision in new developments; and more.
We have had some successes, such as persuading the council to be more ambitious with their Space for People plans, and some failures (so far!), such as pursuading the Tay Bridge Board to see anything beyond the bonnet of a car. So there is a lot to encourage us, and plenty more to do.
We meet up in person every couple of months. Your input on ongoing and new topics will be welcomed.
Our voice will be louder the more members we have. Membership is currently free (no plans to change that). You can get involved as much or as little as you wish. Sound good? Then fill in our simple membership form and get started!
In case you are wondering, if you are already on the members' mailing list, then you are already a member - no need to join again.
When you have provided your details here, we will send you a verification email - you have not joined unless you follow the instructions in that email.
